The Ephesus Cat
I recently took a well earned vacation to Turkey and was pretty amazed by the amount of stray cats and dogs that are roaming the streets of their cities. I guess it must be spurred by the climate of the country, that it supports and nurtures breeding. After being there for about two weeks I found that most of my favorite pictures were of cats that I had photographed along the way.
This particular cat I found in the ruins of Ephesus, when I crossed him it was already near noon and close to 40 degrees under the sun but the cat was nice and relaxed perched on his stone in the shade.
