Regretfully I didn’t get around to making this post earlier. Too often if I cover an event and don’t get around to making a blog post within the following days then I never do. Feeling that it’s old news I will just wait for the next event I cover and make a post out of that. However I really wanted to include some pictures from this years UFC card in Stockholm, Sweden. If nothing else only because of how it relates to the previous post: Friends & Pears.

Photographing UFC Fuel Sweden – Part 2
This is my second post from UFC Fuel in Stockholm, Sweden. Here you will find pics from all the matches that were featured once the show started airing on TV. One of them is the match between Diego Nunes and Dennis Sivers, which photographically was probably my best match that evening. Everything seemed to come together for me that match. The fighters position in the ring, my ability to avoid accidentally focusing on the fence, it all came together.

Photographing UFC Fuel Sweden – Part 1
Last evening I attended and photographed UFC Fuel in Stockholm, Sweden. As a sports photographer it’s always cool when these special events come and you get to go and participate. Mixed martial arts is something I’m really starting to enjoy photographing. The proximity to the fighters and the ability to constantly stay on top of them with your camera really make it a great sport photograph. Overall I’d say that it was a fantastic experience that I will not be forgetting anytime soon.
I wanted to put some pictures on the blog and decided to split everything in 3 posts. This one contains pictures from the preliminary matches, then a post with pictures the main matches, and finally a post for the main event. UFC Fuel weigh in at Globen
If you read my previous post you will know that the UFC is currently here in Stockholm, Sweden. Today is Saturday April 14th and I am now only a couple hours away from walking out the door with my camera bag and heading towards Globen to photograph UFC Fuel.
I’ve been looking forward to photographing this event for months, and this week the anticipation has been building with each UFC event I’ve attended. I really think it’s going to be an amazing card full of intensity and great fights. Being able to be there covering the event is a dream come true. As a photography you really couldn’t ask for a better assignment.
Before I leave the house I wanted to make a post and share some pictures from yesterday’s weigh in at Globen. Enjoy!
