At the end of 2012 I made a post which briefly looked at some of the analytics from this website’s traffic over the course of the year. Looking at 2013 I can say that it didn’t go as well as I had planned. I had given myself a goal to double up on a lot of the numbers I did in 2012.The growth from 2011 to 2012 was really good and I wanted to try and repeat it. Unfortunately I didn’t even come close.
In 2013 this website did 11,094 unique visitors and 20,169 page views. In 2012 it was 10,706 unique visitors and 18,285 page views. So it’s very minor growth, 3,62% and 10.30% respectively.
There were 52 posts in 2013, compared to 51 posts in 2012 and 30 posts in 2011. Here I really dropped the ball as I had wanted to be really active and reach 100 posts.
The most popular post in 2013 was My Canon 1D Mark IV custom functions for sports photography. The most popular post from the photo journal was Sweden meets Argentina at Friends Arena (Part 1).
Well see if 2014 can bring better results.
